Favorite Holiday

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. It gives families a chance to come together and enjoy the time they get to spend together. I also like it because of there is always a great meal. Most every Thanksgiving, my family goes to Connecticut to visit and have dinner with my aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents. We spend the day watching football and cooking dinner. Then we sit down to dinner and talk about family stories and what has happened in our lives since the last time we saw each other. It is always nice to get to see my family and eat some turkey and pie.
